What Is E-Learning:
The concept of e-learning came many years ago from today, but the world was not so comfortable with it. People had said many things about this, but due to the improvements in technology and online learning system, e-learning became more popular. Today, thousands of students are studying their subjects online. E-learning has not only stopped this, but in addition to many institutes, schools, colleges, and universities are also promoting e-classroom.
E-learning means “electronic learning” if understood well, taking education with the help of electronic devices and digital media is called e-learning. There are many forms of e-learning, including web-based learning, mobile-based learning or m-Learning, computer-based learning, virtual classroom, and webinars, etc. According to a survey, people believed that online learning is more easy and flexible than learning in a traditional classroom.
How Does E-Learning Work:
The Level of education and education depends on the institute.
Level Of Studies: This means to say what level you want to study because, our education is divided into many levels like School (Primary, Middle, Secondary), College, University, Professional, etc.
Education Institute: If you want to start studying online, then what is the requirement of courses created by it? If the courses are of traditional education, you may need a variety of tools. It should be kept in mind that online study is done sitting at home, for this, online classes have to be attended. Which are hosted by education institutes.
Advantage Of E-Learning:
The biggest advantage of e-learning, which is visible, is that you can start studying at any time and from anywhere according to you. That is, you have no restriction of time and space. Studying in the classroom, if you miss a class, then you will have to learn that subject by yourself. Whereas through e-learning, you can access the web-based content for unlimited time and can understand it by looking again and again.
Learning through online learning is substantially less expensive. Because you do not have to spend money on books or any other items. If you are unable to go to school or college for any reason, you can still learn any subject with the help of web-based learning. E-learning is also environmentally beneficial because here information is stored on the web rather than in the book. Which helps to save our environment. So if you are thinking of reading through e-learning, then you will also have to face many difficulties for it. Because e-learning may not take the place of school or college. Yes, it can definitely replace your extra class.
Online Learning Resources:
There are a wide number of platforms where you can find your interesting courses and start learning. Some of them are:
- Khan Academy
- LinkedIn Learning, etc.
Types Of E-Learning:
Synchronous: “At the same time” consider it as such that students and teachers connect with each other from different places at the same time. In this way, students can easily ask their questions on studying a subject, so that their doubts clear because of this, it is also called real-time learning.
Learning resources are provided to students with the help of online tools available in this type of e-learning. Some examples of this include audio and video conferencing, live chat, virtual classroom, webinars, etc. are included.
Asynchronous: “Not in a time” means that there is no basis for real-time engagement between student and teacher. Rather information is already available. It is understood that web-based training in which we can do an online course, blogs, websites, video tutorials, e-books, forums, etc.
The biggest advantage of e-learning, that we can get information whenever we want, 24 × 7. For this reason, some students prefer to study through asynchronous e-learning.
How To Make E-Learning More Effective:
By making some necessary changes, this learning can be made more realistic.
- By giving one different learning option – Many students do not have the necessary things for this learning, then they can provide lectures through audios, videos, email, call, etc.
- Create short content – by giving necessary and short lectures.
- Fun with studies – If the students are joking a little bit with fun, they feel more in their studies. The subject does not sound bored, but the interest increases.
- Game or group – by making students a game, group, related to the study. Their interest can be further increased in studies.
- Separately add down hours – at least keep one hour in the week for the students so that all their doubts can be cleared.
